According to the Constitution of the Republic of China and its Additional Articles, the Control Yuan is empowered to exercise the powers of impeachment, censure and audit. It may also take corrective measures against government organizations. To fulfill these duties, members of the Control Yuan shall receive people's complaints, supervise central and local governments, conduct investigations, practice Sunshine Acts etc.
