Article 3 of the Control Act stipulates that members of the Control Yuan shall conduct circuit supervision in central and local level. Circuit supervision at the central level is performed by the standing committees relevant to their operations, and the local level is delineated according to administrative areas and carried out by teams. Supervision covers the following fields: 1. The general administration and the execution of budgets. 2. The implementation of government policies and regulations. 3.Dereliction of duty by government officials. 4. The implementation of corrective measures proposed by the Control Yuan. 5.The livelihood of the people and social conditions. 6. The handling of people’s complaints, and other related matters.
